The REMS Picus SR Basic-Pack 183010 R220 is the basic kit of the SR line. 2200 W, stepless speed 250–1200 rpm held constant under load, reinforced concrete up to Ø162 mm, Ø200 mm on a stand. Takes REMS diamond core crowns with UNC 1¼ thread.
The REMS Picus SR Basic-Pack 183010 R220 is the basic kit of the SR line. It includes the stepless-speed drive unit, stabiliser, spacer set for the Titan stand and steel case. It suits drillers working many materials who set the right speed for each crown size. The Picus SR has a 2200 W motor, a 2-speed gear and a stepless speed dial. Gear 1 runs at 250–500 rpm, gear 2 at 600–1200 rpm. The electronics keep the selected speed constant under load. It drills steel-reinforced concrete up to Ø162 mm hand held and up to Ø200 mm on a stand. Masonry goes up to Ø250 mm and the drive unit weighs 6.4 kg.
Before ordering, check the largest hole size, the wall or floor material and whether water can be used on site. These three points decide between a drive unit, a Basic-Pack or a set with a stand.
Item 183010 R220 includes:
The machine takes REMS UDKB and UDKB LS universal core crowns, 420 mm drilling depth. The UNC 1¼ thread is the REMS standard, so one set of crowns fits every Picus. Compatible stands: REMS Simplex 2 stand (up to Ø202 mm) or REMS Titan stand (up to Ø300 mm, tilting 45°).
Drilling concrete, masonry and stone releases fine quartz dust that is harmful to inhale. EN 60335-2-69 requires at least a class M safety extractor. REMS Pull 2 M meets this class and connects directly to the Picus suction port.
