Pruning tool bundle The Hunter with pruner, saw, holster

This pruning tool bundle assembles four field-tested components for branch cutting, sawing, carrying, and maintenance. The FELCO 2 pruner handles branches up to 25 mm diameter with a forged aluminum body and hardened steel blade.

The FELCO 602 folding saw offers a 160 mm pull-cut blade that locks closed for safe transport. The FELCO 911 leather holster provides two separate pockets for pruner and saw. The FELCO 980 spray delivers lubricant and cleaner to protect blades and pivot points from corrosion.

Components of the pruning tool bundle

FELCO 2 bypass pruner

The FELCO 2 pruner uses a bypass cutting mechanism with a hardened steel blade and aluminum handles. The forged aluminum body keeps weight low while maintaining structural strength. The blade can be resharpened or replaced when worn. The pruner weighs approximately 210 g and fits comfortably in one hand during extended pruning sessions.

• Maximum cutting diameter: 25 mm
• Handle material: forged aluminum
• Blade material: hardened steel
• Cutting mechanism: bypass
• Weight: approximately 210 g
• Blade: replaceable and resharpenable

The bypass design produces clean cuts on live wood without crushing tissue. The pruner suits fruit trees, roses, ornamental shrubs, and general garden maintenance. Replacement parts are available for all wear components including blade, anvil, spring, and bolt.

FELCO 602 folding saw

The FELCO 602 saw features a pull-action blade that cuts on the draw stroke.

The blade length measures approximately 160 mm. A safety lock secures the blade in the closed position during transport. The folding design reduces overall length for pocket or holster carry.

• Blade length: approximately 160 mm
• Cutting action: pull stroke
• Safety lock: yes, when folded
• Design: folding

The pull-cut teeth remove material efficiently with less effort than push-cut designs. The saw handles branches too thick for pruner blades and performs well on dry or green wood. The compact folded size fits easily into the FELCO 911 holster pocket.

FELCO 911 leather holster

The FELCO 911 holster provides two separate pockets constructed from leather. One pocket accommodates the pruner, the other holds the folded saw. A belt loop on the back allows attachment to standard work belts. The leather construction resists abrasion and moisture.

• Pockets: two separate compartments
• Material: leather
• Attachment: belt loop

The dual-pocket layout keeps tools organized and accessible during pruning work. The holster eliminates the need to return to a toolbox between cuts. Leather molds to the shape of the tools over time for a secure fit.

FELCO 980 maintenance spray

The FELCO 980 spray contains a lubricant and cleaner formulated for cutting tools. The solution removes sap, dirt, and plant residue from blades and pivot points. The lubricant component protects metal surfaces from rust and corrosion. Regular application extends blade life and maintains smooth operation.

• Function: lubricant and cleaner
• Application: blades and moving parts
• Protection: rust and corrosion prevention

Spray application after each work session keeps cutting edges clean and pivot mechanisms free. The formula is designed specifically for pruning tools and does not harm plant tissue on subsequent cuts. The spray bottle fits easily into a tool bag or pocket.

Common applications

This bundle suits orchard maintenance, vineyard pruning, rose garden care, and general landscape work. The pruner handles routine branch removal and shaping. The saw tackles thicker branches beyond pruner capacity. The holster keeps both tools ready during tree-to-tree movement. The spray maintains tool performance across multiple work sessions in humid or sap-heavy conditions.

Bundle configuration

The four components work together as a complete field kit. The pruner and saw cover a wide range of branch diameters. The holster eliminates tool loss and reduces walking time. The spray ensures consistent cutting performance over the life of the tools. Each component is available separately as a replacement or upgrade.
