16 litre knapsack hand pump sprayer EPOCA Galaxia 16 for crop spraying

The 16 litre knapsack sprayer EPOCA Galaxia 16 works by manual lever pumping and carries 15.5 litres in the tank. Usable liquid volume is 14,750 ml, leaving headspace for pressurisation. The pump body is built into the tank as one module, yet it unscrews with a single cap for cleaning. Pumping effort stays low thanks to the long lever arm.

The filling cap is wide and comes with a filter funnel fixed to the lid. Solution pours in quickly, spillage is reduced and the funnel is easy to rinse. Sealing allows the unit to be turned upside down without leaking. An agitator linked to the pump keeps the mix homogeneous during work. Delivered condition includes a straight lance with adjustable jet, a yellow spray shield and a maintenance kit.

Tank, lid and filter funnel

The moulded tank shapes the back panel for carrying, while the large mouth simplifies filling and cleaning. A filter funnel sits on the cap so debris is held back before it reaches the pump. Wiping the funnel takes seconds because it detaches with the lid. The wide opening also shortens rinsing cycles between different solutions.

• Tank capacity: 15.5 litres
• Usable volume: 14,750 ml
• Wide filling mouth with lid-mounted filter funnel
• Sealed closure, tank can be inverted without leakage
• Packed weight: 4.19 kg

Cleaning discipline matters when the same unit handles fertiliser and plant protection liquids. The removable funnel and smooth internal walls make flushing straightforward. Because the closure seals firmly, the unit can be laid down during transport. Operators should still empty and rinse the tank after each shift to keep the filter and valves clear.

Hand pump, agitator and pressure relief

Pressure is generated by a modular pump fitted inside the tank. A single screw cap releases it for service or replacement. The lever head reverses to either side of the tank, covering left-handed and right-handed use. The moulded grip carries ribbed hard plastic for a secure hold. A relief system limits over-pressure in the vessel.

• Integrated modular pump, removable for maintenance
• Pressure relief and over-pressure protection
• Reversible lever head for left- or right-hand operation
• Ribbed hard plastic grip
• Agitator driven with the pump for mixing
• Service kit with seals, springs and ball pins

Gloves are recommended while pumping, both for grip and for handling chemicals. The agitator matters with wettable powders, which settle fast without movement. Keeping the relief system clean helps maintain a steady jet. When seals wear, the supplied kit covers the usual replacement parts without ordering a new pump assembly.

Lance and hose length

The spray assembly splits into two parts. The rigid lance extends from 54 cm to 91 cm, set once at assembly to suit the operator. A flexible hose links tank to lever and follows body movement. The standard nozzle is a straight adjustable jet; other nozzle types can be selected at purchase or added later.

• Rigid lance length: 54 cm to 91 cm, adjustable
• Flexible hose from tank to trigger
• Standard nozzle: straight lance with adjustable jet
• Yellow spray shield included
• Optional nozzle types available

A longer lance reaches under foliage and into hedges without bending. Shortening it helps in greenhouses and narrow rows. The spray shield keeps drift off neighbouring plants during spot treatment. Nozzle choice changes droplet size, so match it to the task: fine mist for foliage, coarser jets for soil and weed lines.

Common applications

Typical use covers orchard and vegetable spraying, hedge and lawn treatment, greenhouse work and plant nurseries. The 16 litre volume suits medium plots where refilling should stay infrequent. Facility teams also use manual knapsack sprayers for disinfecting yards, warehouse floors and animal housing. Adjustable jet settings allow both misting of leaves and directed spraying of trunks, paths and wall bases.

Catalog and packing data

Each unit ships in its own carton, supplied with accessories and ready for use. Outer dimensions of the pack are 44.5 x 15.0 x 61.0 cm at 4.19 kg. For retail stocking, 48 units are consolidated on one pallet. This packing data helps dealers plan storage space and inbound freight volume.
