The REMS Picus S2-3,5 Basic-Pack is the basic kit of the largest Picus machine. 3420 W, the most powerful Picus, 320 and 760 rpm, Ø40–300 mm holes on a drill stand, dry or wet. Takes REMS diamond core crowns with UNC 1¼ thread.
The REMS Picus S2-3,5 Basic-Pack is the basic kit of the largest Picus machine. The order number is 180012 R220. It includes the 3420 W drive unit, water supply, light loosening ring and wrench, in a carton. The machine must be mounted on a drill stand and suits large holes up to Ø300 mm on building sites. The Picus S2-3,5 is the most powerful Picus, with a 3420 W motor and two speeds of 320 and 760 rpm. It works on a drill stand only, not hand held. Hole sizes run from Ø40 to Ø300 mm in reinforced concrete, masonry, stone and asphalt. The drive unit weighs 14.4 kg and drills dry or wet. REMS rates a Ø62 mm hole, 200 mm deep in reinforced concrete, at about 2 minutes.
Before ordering, check the largest hole size, the wall or floor material and whether water can be used on site. These three points decide between a drive unit, a Basic-Pack or a set with a stand.
Item 180012 R220 includes:
The machine takes REMS UDKB and UDKB LS universal core crowns, 420 mm drilling depth. The UNC 1¼ thread is the REMS standard, so one set of crowns fits every Picus. Stand-only machine, use the REMS Titan stand.
Drilling concrete, masonry and stone releases fine quartz dust that is harmful to inhale. EN 60335-2-69 requires at least a class M safety extractor. REMS Pull 2 M meets this class and connects directly to the Picus suction port.
