Pump pressure builds by hand, then a fully adjustable plastic nozzle sprays acid based cleaners. The spray pattern runs from a solid jet to a fine mist. Nominal volume is 1860 ml, with 1500 ml usable. VITON seals resist strong acids, oils and greases. A safety valve releases pressure at 3 bar. The reinforced PP pump shaft suits daily workshop and car wash duty.
The acid resistant chemical sprayer 1.5L A-Type 1.5 PRO PA VITON works with aggressive cleaning liquids that attack ordinary rubber seals. Its sealing set is made of VITON, a fluoroelastomer that withstands strong acids, oils and greases. Nominal capacity is 1860 ml and usable capacity is 1500 ml. That reserve lets an operator spray for a longer period before refilling.
Pressure is created with the manual pump, up to a working limit of 3 bar. A safety valve vents automatically when that limit is reached. The same valve can be opened by hand to release pressure before opening the bottle. The all black housing makes the unit easy to identify on a shelf of mixed sprayers, so acid lines are not confused with alkaline ones.
The hand pump raises internal pressure until the spray jet is strong enough for the task. Maximum working pressure is 3 bar, and the relief valve opens at that value. VITON seals hold their shape under this load, so output stays steady while the bottle empties. The pump shaft is moulded from reinforced PP, a material chosen for contact with chemical vapours.
Keeping pressure inside the rated range protects the sealing set and the operator. Release the valve by hand before unscrewing the head, especially after spraying acid solutions. Check the seals when the unit is cleaned, and rinse the bottle with water after each chemical change. These simple steps keep the sprayer tight and the jet consistent over long service.
The plastic nozzle turns through a continuous range, so one tool covers several jobs. A tight setting produces a concentrated jet for stubborn deposits at distance. Opening the nozzle gives a fine mist for even coverage of panels or floors. Thick and thin liquids can both be handled, which matters when a workshop runs different dilutions from the same bottle.
Set the nozzle before pressurising, then fine tune while spraying. A narrow jet uses less liquid on local stains, while a mist pattern suits pre soaking. If the pattern becomes uneven, rinse the nozzle in clean water and clear the orifice. Blocked nozzles are the most common cause of a weak spray on hand pump units.
Acid based wheel cleaners, descalers and industrial detergents are the main media for this version. Car wash bays use it for rim cleaning and pre treatment before foam. Service workshops apply it for degreasing and parts cleaning. Food plants, laundries and maintenance teams use it for surface sanitising with acidic solutions. The VITON seal set is not recommended for alkaline solutions, which are better served by an EPDM version.
EPDM resists weak acids, alkalis and many chemicals, and ages well under heat. It is not suited to oils, greases or several aggressive media. VITON covers strong acids, oils, greases and most industrial chemicals, and tolerates higher temperatures. Strong chemicals ionise fully in solution and corrode materials quickly; weak chemicals ionise only partly and react less. Always check the material data sheet against your acid type, concentration and working temperature.
