Hand mist sprayer 1 litre EPOCA Jolie 09 for plant and garden care

A hand mist sprayer holding 1018 ml of liquid, the EPOCA Jolie 09 covers routine watering and misting tasks around plants. Each stroke of the hand pump releases up to 1.3 ml of liquid. The plastic nozzle can be turned to change the spray pattern and the droplet size. That range lets the same bottle deliver a fine mist or a narrower jet.

The valve opens under pressure from the hand pump and closes again when the trigger is released. The nozzle head detaches without tools, so the bottle can be rinsed after use. This matters when the liquid contains fertiliser or leaf-care solutions. The unit is made in Italy and comes in lime yellow or orange. Both colour versions share the same tank, pump and nozzle assembly.

Hand mist sprayer EPOCA Jolie 09 construction

The bottle pairs a moulded tank with a trigger-operated pump head. Output stays modest at 1.3 ml per stroke, which keeps the spray light and controllable. The nozzle body is plastic and threads onto the pump outlet. Turning it alters the cone of the spray. A self-closing valve keeps the circuit shut between strokes and limits dripping at the tip.

• Tank capacity: 1018 ml
• Maximum output per stroke: 1.3 ml
• Plastic nozzle with adjustable jet and droplet size
• Self-closing valve operated by hand pump pressure
• Nozzle head removable for cleaning
• Made in Italy

Nozzle adjustment and cleaning

Spray behaviour is set at the nozzle itself. Rotating the tip narrows or widens the cone and changes how fine the droplets are. Fine misting suits leaves and seedlings. A tighter jet reaches further into a planter. After spraying fertiliser or treatment solutions, the head unscrews so residue can be flushed out before the next use.

• Rotating tip for jet and droplet control
• Tool-free removal of the spray head
• Suits rinsing after fertiliser or leaf-care mixes
• Valve shuts when pump pressure drops

Regular rinsing keeps the nozzle passage clear and the spray pattern consistent. Salts from fertiliser solutions can dry inside a narrow orifice and distort the cone. Because the head separates from the pump, water can pass straight through the passage. The pump body and tank can be rinsed separately. Store the bottle empty when it will sit unused for a longer period.

Handling and daily use

The trigger sits under the index finger and the tank rests in the palm. Short repeated strokes produce a steady mist rather than a burst. With 1018 ml on board, the bottle covers a balcony or an indoor plant collection without refilling. Weight stays manageable when full. Colour choice helps separate bottles used for water from those used for treatment solutions.

• Trigger-operated hand pump
• 1018 ml working volume between refills
• Two colour versions: lime yellow and orange
• Light output per stroke for controlled misting

Keeping one bottle per liquid avoids cross-contamination between plain water and diluted products. Label each unit if several are in service. Check the nozzle cone before starting work, since the tip can be left in a previous setting. Prime the pump with a few strokes after refilling so the valve seats correctly and the spray stabilises.

Common applications

Misting houseplants, orchids and bonsai is the main use for this bottle. It also serves seedling trays and propagation boxes where droplet size must stay fine. Growers use it to apply diluted foliar feeds and leaf-cleaning solutions. In small greenhouses, it raises humidity around sensitive cuttings. Florists mist cut flowers and display arrangements. The same bottle works for spraying window surfaces or cleaning liquids in light indoor tasks, provided the liquid is compatible with plastic components.

Selection notes

Match the bottle to the volume of plants you handle. The 1018 ml tank suits balcony and indoor collections. Choose the colour version that fits your labelling routine. Related EPOCA models cover smaller capacities and clear tanks where liquid level needs to be visible. Contact us for the full range and current availability.
