Hand Mist Sprayer 1 Litre EPOCA Jolie Clear 09 for Plant Care

The EPOCA Jolie line of hand mist sprayers operates solely on manual pump pressure, requiring no batteries, compressed air, or electrical components. The Jolie clear 09 model features a translucent body with a 1018 ml liquid capacity. Each pump delivers up to 1.25 ml of fine mist. The valve automatically opens and closes as pressure is applied, ensuring a consistent spray pattern throughout extended use.

The nozzle head can be removed by hand, allowing for easy rinsing after use. Manufactured in Italy by EPOCA, this sprayer is ideal for houseplants, bonsai, and seed trays, and is especially suitable for plants that require gentle humidity rather than heavy watering. The clear body provides instant visibility of the remaining liquid. Only the trigger and cap color vary between versions; all share the same pump, valve, and nozzle design.

Hand Mist Sprayer EPOCA Jolie Clear 09: Construction and Operation

Operation is straightforward: squeeze the hand pump to build pressure, which opens the valve. Releasing the lever closes the valve, preventing drips. The plastic nozzle produces a fine mist rather than a jet, and the 1.25 ml output per stroke keeps foliage moist without overwatering.

Spray Output and Valve Action

Precise metering is important for young leaves or delicate bonsai foliage. Each 1.25 ml stroke lightly mists a small area, and repeated strokes gradually increase coverage, giving you control over moisture levels. The self-acting valve responds only to hand pressure, preventing leaks between strokes and keeping surfaces dry.

• Maximum output per spray stroke: 1.25 ml
• Valve opens and closes with hand pump pressure
• Manual trigger operation, no external power required
• Fine mist pattern from a plastic nozzle
• Translucent body for easy liquid level monitoring

Pump speed can be adjusted to suit the task: slow, spaced strokes create a gentle mist for seedlings, while faster strokes cover larger leaves quickly. The mechanical design ensures consistent output as long as there is liquid in the tank. Refilling is quick and easy by unscrewing the head from the bottle.

Nozzle Removal and Cleaning

The spray head detaches from the bottle without tools, making cleaning simple after using fertilizers or leaf treatments. Rinse residue from the tube and nozzle with clean water. Regular rinsing keeps the fine nozzle clear and maintains the mist pattern. Store the sprayer empty if it will not be used for an extended period.

• Nozzle head removable by hand for cleaning
• Plastic nozzle, rinsable under running water
• Bottle refillable through the head opening
• Manufactured in Italy by EPOCA

Cleaning is straightforward: empty the tank, partially fill with clean water, and pump until the spray runs clear. Wipe the exterior and allow parts to dry before reassembling. This routine keeps the valve seat free of deposits and prevents cross-contamination between different solutions, which is important when alternating between water and plant treatments.

Common Applications

This sprayer is primarily used for indoor plant care. Misting is ideal for ferns, orchids, calatheas, and other humidity-loving plants. Bonsai enthusiasts use it for foliage and moss between waterings. Seed trays and cuttings benefit from gentle moisture without disturbing soil. Florists use it to refresh cut flowers and displays. It is also suitable for household tasks such as ironing, window cleaning, or cooling. Small nurseries, offices, and garden centers keep multiple units at workstations for convenient misting.
