Hand pressure mist sprayer EPOCA Solare 2, 2 litre for garden care

Hand pressure sprayer 2 litre units sit between a watering can and a backpack sprayer. The EPOCA Solare 2 holds a 2 litre tank with 1.8 litres of usable solution. Pressure comes from a plunger-type hand pump built into the lid. About 15 strokes at maximum fill level bring the tank to 3 bar. A relief valve vents automatically once that limit is passed.

The plastic nozzle adjusts from a fine mist to a tighter jet. A trigger lock holds the spray open for continuous work and secures the lever when idle. The white plastic body is recyclable and stands 310 mm tall on a 140 mm diameter. Total weight is 425 g, so the unit stays easy to carry along a row of pots. Every part on the sprayer can be replaced individually.

Tank and body construction

The tank uses white plastic with a 73 mm neck opening, wide enough for filling and cleaning. A moulded thumb rest helps when twisting the pump assembly open or closed. The rigid delivery tube stays transparent, so the operator can see liquid moving through it. A strainer sits on the suction intake and keeps particles away from the nozzle.

• Tank capacity 2 litres, usable volume 1.8 litres
• Height 310 mm, body diameter 140 mm
• Neck diameter 73 mm with thumb rest
• Filter screen on the suction intake
• Rigid transparent delivery tube
• Weight 425 g

Sealing parts are supplied by the Italian manufacturer and can be replaced when they wear. Each unit ships with an exploded parts diagram and English instructions. That makes it practical to order a single gasket or nozzle instead of the whole sprayer. For nurseries and small workshops, this keeps running costs predictable over several seasons of regular watering work.

Pump, pressure and spray control

The hand pump uses a reinforced plastic shaft of 12 mm. Pumping compresses air above the liquid and drives the solution to the nozzle. Working pressure stays below 3 bar. A safety valve releases excess air above that value. The trigger carries a locking catch, which both blocks accidental spraying and holds the lever for continuous output.

• Plunger-style integrated hand pump
• Reinforced plastic pump shaft, 12 mm
• Safe working pressure below 3 bar
• Automatic pressure relief valve above 3 bar
• Trigger lock plus continuous-spray catch
• Adjustable plastic nozzle, mist to jet

Roughly 15 pump strokes are needed at full fill to reach working pressure. Output is then steady until pressure drops and the tank needs re-pumping. Adjusting the nozzle changes droplet size, which matters when treating leaf undersides or cleaning glass. Release the remaining pressure before opening the tank, then rinse the circuit with clean water after each use.

Common applications

The Solare 2 suits plain water for houseplants, bonsai and seedlings.

It also handles insecticide solutions, liquid fertiliser, herbicide and car glass cleaner. Typical users include home gardeners, balcony growers, plant shops and car care areas. Solution temperature must stay between +5 and +30 degrees Celsius. The sprayer is not intended for industrial duty or for chemicals that attack plastics. Avoid leaving a filled tank in direct sunlight or in a hot storage area.

Catalog and manual notes

The supplied documentation covers assembly, pressurising, nozzle adjustment and cleaning. It lists every replaceable component with a reference drawing. Operating limits stated there include the 3 bar ceiling and the +5 to +30 degrees Celsius liquid range. Users are advised to depressurise the tank before opening and to store it away from heat.
