Hand Pump Pressure Sprayer EPOCA Oceania 2.1 2 Litre for Garden Care

The 2 litre hand pump pressure sprayer Oceania 2.1 from EPOCA builds working pressure through a pump fitted on the lid. A few strokes charge the chamber, then the trigger releases a continuous spray. Nominal capacity is 2 litres and usable capacity is 1.8 litres. A dip tube reaches the bottom of the tank, so the liquid is drawn down to that usable level.

The nozzle turns to change the spray pattern. One end of the range gives a fine mist, the other a concentrated jet. The trigger sits on the handle, so the user presses to spray and releases to stop. This removes the need to hold a valve open during long watering sessions. The tank body is lime-yellow plastic and the liquid level stays visible during work. The unit is imported from Italy by EPOCA and suits watering, foliar feeding and plant care.

How the 2 litre hand pump pressure sprayer works

Pressure and spray system

Pumping is done before spraying, not during it. Several strokes on the lid pump push air into the chamber above the liquid. The stored pressure then feeds the nozzle each time the trigger is pressed. Compared with squeeze-type hand sprayers, this reduces hand fatigue on longer tasks. The spray stops as soon as the trigger is released, which helps control dosing on small plants.

• Hand pump integrated in the lid, pumped before spraying
• Trigger mounted on the handle for press-and-spray operation
• Adjustable nozzle, from fine mist to a concentrated jet
• Dip tube from the tank bottom, drawing the 1.8 litre usable volume
• Threaded cap that seals the chamber and holds pressure

Pressure stays steady across the spraying cycle until the chamber needs recharging. The operator can then pump again without opening the tank. The plastic nozzle is turned by hand, so the pattern can be changed mid-task. A mist setting suits seedlings and leaves, while a jet setting reaches hanging baskets or higher foliage. Both settings work from the same filling, with no tools required.

Materials and construction

The tank is moulded in chemical-resistant plastic and handles diluted fertiliser and plant protection solutions. The lime-yellow colour makes the unit easy to spot among garden equipment and keeps the liquid level readable. The handle is shaped to sit in the palm and limit fatigue during repeated use. The threaded cap closes tightly so the charged pressure is retained between spraying sequences.

• Chemical-resistant plastic tank for diluted fertiliser and plant protection liquids
• Lime-yellow translucent body for level checking
• Ergonomic handle shaped for extended use
• Screw-thread cap with airtight closure
• Low weight for carrying and storage

Low weight matters when the sprayer is carried around a garden or greenhouse. A filled 2 litre tank stays manageable in one hand. The plastic construction also simplifies rinsing after use with fertiliser or treatment solutions. Storage takes little shelf space, and the sealed cap keeps dust out of the tank between jobs. Spare capacity for occasional heavier work is covered by larger Oceania models.

Common applications

Watering indoor ornamental plants and misting seedlings in propagation trays. Spraying diluted plant protection solutions on small crops. Applying foliar fertiliser and growth stimulant solutions. Cleaning dust from leaf surfaces. Misting orchid frames and hanging plants that are hard to reach with a watering can. Cooling plants with plain water during hot weather. The adjustable nozzle covers these tasks from one filling, switching between mist and jet as needed.

Reference notes

The Oceania 2.1 combines a lid-mounted hand pump with an adjustable nozzle in a 2 litre format. Usable content is 1.8 litres, which is the figure to plan mixing around. For larger areas, EPOCA lists Oceania sprayers in bigger capacities. The unit is supplied as a single item, ready to fill and pressurise.
