The wood carving chisel and knife set Kirschen 3437000 brings together seven tools in one fitted wooden box. Three carving chisels, three carving knives and a sharpening stone form the working content. Each blade leaves the factory with a 17° bevel. That angle suits softwood species such as pine, teak and young eucalyptus. The tool steel is hardened to 61 HRC, so the cutting edge keeps its bite through longer carving sessions.

The shallow bevel lets the edge enter the fibre with light hand pressure. Less force on the workpiece means fewer torn fibres and less splitting in low-density timber. Users who move to harder wood can regrind the bevel to a steeper angle. For most general carving work the factory geometry is ready to use straight from the box. The wooden case holds each tool in its own slot, which keeps edges apart during storage and transport.
