That’s exactly why we developed the Weldon drill / tap kit, available exclusively from Euroboor. This original Euroboor kit is ideal for low-profile tapping machines like our ECO.36+/T, but also compatible with any magnetic drilling machine with tapping feature with a 19.05 mm Weldon spindle.

Thanks to their short design and Weldon shank, the twist drills and taps fit directly into the machine with no need of an adapter. That means more working room between your machine and the material, and the ability to drill and tap in one continuous flow. When combined with our ECO.36+/T, you can work in spaces as low as 16.5 cm and within just 5 cm from a wall.

The kit includes the three most common sizes, carefully selected for the majority of threading jobs: Metric • Twist Drills: Ø 6.8 mm, Ø 8.5 mm, Ø 10.2 mm • Taps: M8, M10, M12 Imperial • Twist Drills: Ø 5/16", Ø 3/8", Ø 27/64" • Taps: 3/8-16NC, 7/16-14NC, 1/2-13NC Each drill is matched to its corresponding tap for precise thread cutting, ensuring reliable results.
