Powered by a high capacity, rechargeable battery, this magnetic drilling machines provides unparalleled cordless convenience. The permanent magnet of the EBM.36+/P-18V is consistent and stable, without the risk of overheating.

This machine, like all other Plus machines, is equipped with Gyro-Tec Safety: a gyroscopic sensor that detects sudden movements and automatically shuts off the motor, ensuring the safety of the user and others at all times. The Quick Switch Capstan Hub which can be attached on the right or left side, guarantees optimal ease of use.

Because the EBM series are compatible with the Makita LXT-18V platform, you can use the same battery on different cordless tools. With the powerful battery, you can drill a large number of holes without losing any power. Our HSS14 Battery Test has shown that as many as 25 holes could be drilled in 10mm / 0.39-inch thick S235 steel (Battery: 5Ah).

This not only saves money, but also gives you the advantage to work on projects without interruptions. The EBM.36+/P-18V will easily drill holes into steel and other metals and a wide range of other materials. The powerful motor and advanced magnetic technology delivers impressive performance, precision, speed and accuracy making it ideal for various metalworking applications.
